The design resembling a roof like shape has a slightly pointed apex. "Heki-iro," the foundation colour, was created with a great deal of trial and error, which colour lies in the centre of the blue and green spectrum.

Additionally, "Tamenuri" has the amber hue with a translucent effect that makes it easy to observe how the lacquer has built up. The Shuai urushi lacquer and heki-iro base colour combine to create a stunning and enigmatic greenish amber finish.
