Sailor Special Edition maki-e sakura nagare fountain pen is a special fountain pen project commissioned by the Japan Prime Minister's office in 2009. This project was completed in 2010. This special edition fountain pen was given to the WW2 veterans. You cannot buy it off the shelf from any retailer. There were 2500 (estimated) such fountain pens made.
